Heleen Uijt de Haag

Heleen Uijt de Haag has held various positions at the Ministry of General Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Affairs since 1999. She was policy advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office and political advisor to former Deputy Prime Minister Brinkhorst responsible for economic policy. At the Ministry of Economic Affairs she was policy advisor at the General Economic Policy Directorate and member of the Management Team at the European Affairs Directorate. Till 2022 she was deputy director of the Digital Economy Directorate at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. She is currently director International Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance.
Heleen Uijt de Haag studied European Law at the University of Amsterdam, at the University of Genoa and the European University Institute and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Twente School of Management
