Karolina Ekholm
Director General, Swedish National Debt Office
Ms. Ekholm holds a professorship in Economics at Stockholm University. She acquired her bachelors at Uppsala University and subsequently continued with a Ph.D. in Economics from Lund University. Her research has primarily focused on the effects of globalization.
Previously she served as State Secretary for the Swedish Ministry of Finance and on the board of the Swedish Central Bank, where she was one of five deputy governors.
