
Martin Moland
Doctoral Research Fellow - ARENA Centre for European Studies, University of Oslo
Moland has an MA in political science from the University of Oslo (2018), and a Bachelor’s degree in European studies from the same university. His Master’s thesis investigated the consequences of austerity policies for the trust in and approval of the EU. Moland also has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Volda University College.
Martin Moland’s academic interests include public opinion in the EU countries, how public policy implementation impacts political attitudes and the effects of media use on political behavior. His PhD investigates the structure of differentiated attitudes towards European integration, and the extent to which citizens express ambivalent attitudes towards both EU policies as well as future models of how the EU should look.
