Johanna Breuer is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Political Science at Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany). She holds a PhD from the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute (Fiesole, Italy), obtained in 2024. Johanna Breuer previously studied at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands and the University of Passau in Germany.
Her research interests include the EU budget, intersectional inequality, and European fiscal policies. She is also interested in the challenges of the Common Agricultural Policy in the context of climate change and a changing agricultural landscape.
