Bernard Attali
Senior advisor, August Debouzy and EQT
Bernard Attali was born in Algiers in 1943. Following his studies (Sciences Po / ENA) he pursued a career alternating between the public and private sectors: Magistrate at the Cour des Comptes in 1968, Financial Director of Club Med in 1979, Delegate for Regional Planning in 1982, Chairman of the European Union's Regional Policy Committee in 1983, Chairman of Gan in 1984, Chairman and CEO of Air France in 1988, Chairman of Bankers Trust France in 1995, Vice-Chairman of Deutsche Bank Europe in 1997, senior advisor of TPG Capital in 2000, senior advisor of Bank of America and Brookfield Capital. Since 2019, he has been a senior advisor to August Debouzy and EQT, one of Europe’s largest investment funds.
Bernard Attali has been a director of numerous companies (BNP, SNCF, Soc. Gen, CIC, La Poste, Aérospatiale, Sabena, Scor, IATA, Meridien, TDF) He has taught at Sciences Po, ENA and New York University.
