The project aims to contribute to easing EU-level fiscal constraints and to defusing the rivalry between EU climate and development spending. To achieve this, it will promote three outcomes: 1/ the adoption of additional own resources, 2/ higher tax efficiency in EU member states, and 3/ a larger and more efficient EU budget that gives much greater emphasis to public goods including development aid.
