Improvement of Models towards a more efficient and innovative Net Zero Pathway research.
Timeline: 01/2023 to 12/2026
PRISMA project promotes Improvement of the Integrated Assessment Models by focusing on four key areas of improvement: the representation of distributional justice and efficiency, innovation and finance, climate impacts and land-use implications, and lifestyle change and circularity. The extensive model development will be co-designed through an interactive stakeholder engagement process from the beginning, and focus on model openness and usability to ensure the stakeholder and policy relevance.
Bruegel’s role is to design and implement a stakeholder engagement framework and disseminate policy papers for a non-technical audience.
