William Oman

William Oman is an economist at the International Monetary Fund, where his work within the Monetary and Capital Markets Department focuses on climate change and macrofinancial issues. Previously, he worked in the IMF's European Department and the IMF Europe Office, where my responsibilities included surveillance on the euro area, France, Malta, and Spain, as well as IMF engagement with the OECD, the ECB, and the European Commission. Before that, he worked on the euro area at Roubini Global Economics in London. His work has been covered by media outlets such as Bloomberg News, the Financial Times and Reuters.
