
Toon Vandyck
Senior economist, OECD
Toon Vandyck is a Senior Economist at the OECD, where he heads the Modeling and Outlooks team of the Environment Directorate. His research primarily deals with the economics of climate policy, including the distributional and employment impacts, the economics of air pollution, and the interplay between climate change mitigation and clean air. In his previous position at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, he has provided quantitative, model-based support to EU climate and clean air policies, including the Fit-for-55 package of the EU Green Deal. He holds a PhD in economics from the KULeuven university in Belgium.
