Sayuri Shirai
Professor, Keio University and Visiting Scholar, ADBI,
Dr. Shirai was at the International Monetary Fund before starting her teaching career at Keio University in 1998, where she became Professor in 2006. She also served as a visiting scholar at the Asian Development Bank Institute. She is author has also published on China’s exchange crises, Japan’s macroeconomic policy and the European sovereign debt crisis. She has been a Member of the BoJ Policy Board since April 2011.
