Ms Butorina is a Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the European Integration Department, Advisor to the Director of the MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry, and a member of the Board of Advisors of Russia in Global Affairs. She has earned degrees from MGIMO University, Faculty of international economic relations and Institute of Europe RAS. Her scientific interests include: theory and practice of regional integration, European economic integration, Economic and Monetary Union of EU, monetary integration, Russia-EU relations, etc.. She has published over 120 publications.
