Nadim Ahmad is the Head of the Trade and Competitiveness Statistics Division of the OECD’s Statistics and Data Directorate, where he leads the Directorate’s work on globalisation, productivity, entrepreneurship and competitiveness.
He has produced a number of publications and papers in the fields of the National Accounts, Entrepreneurship, the Digital Economy, the Informal Economy, Productivity, Capital Measurement, Input-Output analyses, Intellectual Property Products, Globalisation and Trade in Value-Added, reflecting 25 years’ experience in official statistics. Prior to joining the OECD in 2000, Nadim conducted PhD research for the UK Admiralty Research Establishment before joining the UK’s Finance Ministry in 1993 and the UK’s Office for National Statistics in 1996.
