Marianne Jarlaud

Deputy Head of the Innovation and Digital Finance division, Autorité des Marchés Financiers

Marianne Jarlaud is currently Deputy Head of the Innovation and Digital Finance division, in the Regulatory Policy and International Affairs Directorate at the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers. She joined in 2017. She has been representing the AMF in European and international policy fora dedicated to investor protection and intermediaries’ regulation and since 2022 to financial innovation. 

Since 2022, she has been closely involved in the regulatory changes affecting the crypto-assets industry at European level, as well as in the preparation of new regulations in the space of financial markets’ innovation, such as the European open finance framework and the EU artificial intelligence act.

Prior to joining the AMF, Ms Jarlaud worked for 8 years as Compliance officer covering wealth management, private equity and wholesale activities of both French and international financial institutions. She is a graduated from ESSEC Paris in 2010 and holds a post-graduate degree in Financial Criminal Law.
