Hanna Müller

Hanna Muller was born in 1983 in Stuttgart (Germany). She joined the Federation of German Industries (BDI) in May 2012. The BDI is the umbrella organization of German industry and industry-related services. It speaks for 36 trade associations and more than 100,000 enterprises with around 8 million employees. At BDI, Hanna started as Senior Manager for Greater China and was responsible for the China-related work within BDI and the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA). 2016 she established the first BDI office in China/Beijing and acts now as Chief Representative.
Prior to her work at BDI she gained professional experience in the field of economic policies working for consulting firms in Munich and Berlin and at the German Embassy in Singapore.
She holds a M.A. in Politics of East Asia and a B.A. in Economics and Politics of East Asia from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
