George Dimopoulos
George completed a research internship at Bruegel in the summer of 2023. He contributed to the green economy research team. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in economics at Stanford University, with an intent to pursue a master’s degree in computer science. His research interests include artificial intelligence, energy policy, environmental economics, and game theory.
Previously, George worked as a research assistant at a sustainability-focused artificial intelligence research lab at Stanford. He also held positions as the chief of staff for a youth advocacy nonprofit and the policy team co-lead for the Stanford Student Space Initiative.
George is a native English speaker. He is proficient in Spanish and has a conversational understanding of Greek.
