Estelle Youssouffa

Estelle Youssouffa is an independent bilingual broadcast journalist and international affairs consultant. Since January 2014, she is a news anchor on BFM TV, the leading and most-viewed French 24-hour news network. Estelle is also an investigative reporter working for the French leading public television network France 2. An international affairs consultant, Estelle briefs CEOs on current affairs and writes reports for companies to give a better understanding of the new dynamics of shifting international alliances and strategies. A public speaker herself, she is invited to discuss international affairs at conferences, she has also been published by Foreign Affairs. As a conference host, Estelle has moderated high-level panels for international conferences and internal conventions (Total, Attijariwafa Bank, Crédit Agricole, PWC, the Trilateral Commission, the Africa SME Forum...) In June 2013, Estelle launched the Leaders’ Seminar, an initiative continuing the sort of global dialogue she’s engaged in. The first edition brought together 40 French, American and Morrocan leaders for 4 days in Marrakech. In April 2016, she renewed the initiative for a 4 days-seminar in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). In November 2017, Kigali (Rwanda) welcomed the 3rd edition of the Leaders’ Seminar which has established itself as a unique gathering, an immersive experience mixing close-doors discussions, on-site visits and activities as well as meetings with officials to better grasp complex issues and embrace frank debates.
Estelle is an alumna of the Young Leaders programme of the French- American Foundation (class 2011-2012). In 2013, the German Marshall Fund of the United States has selected Estelle as an Emerging Leader for The Atlantic Dialogues. She has also been selected by the African Leadership Network in 2014.
