Dmitry Polevoy
Chief Economist, Russian Direct Investment Fund,
Mr Polevoy has joined the Russian Direct Investment Fund since June-18 as a Chief Economist to perform macroeconomic analysis and support the Fund investment activity. Before joining the Fund, for eight years Dmitry served as a Chief Economist on Russia and CIS for the Moscow office of ING Bank after spending three years at KIT Finance investment bank in Moscow. In 2001-2007 he worked as an economist and later as a Department director in the Institute for the Economy in Transition participating in various research and consultancy projects in the field of macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policy. Dmitry holds a Master degree in applied physics and mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Since 2007, he also holds a PhD degree in economics.
