Caspar Welbergen

Head of Beijing Office, Stiftung Mercator,

Caspar Welbergen is the Head of the Beijing Office of Stiftung Mercator. Before joining the foundation in 2013, he was working as an economic researcher for a business consultancy. Prior to that, he was working at the German Chamber of Commerce in Beijing as the assistant to the Chief Representative. He is a graduate of China Studies and Economics at Free University Berlin and East China Normal University in Shanghai.
