Carl B Hamilton, professor of International Economics, especially Trade and protectionism, was State Secretary in the Swedish Finance Ministry, Chief Economist at Handelsbanken, and Member of Parliament. Currently he is the Special Adviser to the Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and serves on the General Council of the Swedish Central Bank (Riksbanken).
