Amine Idriss Adoum
Director, Infrastructure and Energy, Industrialisation, Trade and Regional Integration, African Union Development Agency-NEPAD
Amine Idriss Adoum is the Director of Infrastructure, Industrialisation, Trade and Regional Integration at the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD, a role he has held since 2021. Previously, he served as Director of Programme Delivery and Coordination (2019-2021) and COO/Director of Corporate Affairs & Business Centres in Johannesburg (2018-2019). From 2014 to 2018, he was the Director/Chief of Administration (COO) at the African Union in Addis Ababa. Earlier in his career, mr. Adoum worked at ECOBANK TRANSNATIONAL Inc. as Group Director of Talent & Organization Development in Togo and held various leadership positions at Nestlé SA, including Director of Leadership Development for APAC & MEA.
Mr. Adoum holds an MSc in Project Engineering and an MSc in Economics from the Catholic University of Central Africa, along with a BSc in Archaeology from the University of N’Djamena. He has completed an Executive Leadership Programme at London Business School and has undergone leadership development training at Tack International in Lausanne.
