Mr Vedev was Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation (2014-2017), responded for official forecast and governmental programs. Alexey Vedev defended doctoral dissertation in Economics in 2018 concerning economic modelling and forecast. Completed the course "Applied computable general equilibrium models" at Harvard University. He was Invited Professor of the Hitotsubashi University (Tokyo, Japan) in 1996. Now he is working in Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
