Alexandr Hobza is an expert in the Cabinet of Executive Vice-President Stéphane Séjourné.
Previously, he was Head of Unit at DG ECFIN of the European Commission. He was responsible for assessment and benchmarking of national reforms, including policies to promote investment, productivity and to improve the functioning of labour and product markets. Previously, he worked on the team of the Director-General of DG ECFIN. Before joining the European Commission, he also worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies. He holds a PhD degree from the University of Economics in Prague and a master degree from the ULB.
