18:00-19:00This high-level workshop will bring together expertise from public and private sectors to explore the consequences of the US-Presidential Elections for economic security in the democratic West and for the transatlantic agenda.
How do the US administration and the EU commission currently define the term and concept of economic security? How do these definitions need to be sharpened? What course has the Biden administration set for transatlantic cooperation? In which areas are there still opportunities for cooperation between the European Commission and the next US government under President-elect Trump? This workshop will provide a unique platform for in-depth dialogue on the future of transatlantic relations and the evolving challenges to economic security.
This event is only open to Bruegel Members and a small number of selected invitees
